Originally titled 12 Play: The 4th Quarter, R. Kelly demonstrates what he does best in his newly-released Untitled album. That would be singing and writing the bedroom jams. Unfortunately, there is very little baby-making music in Untitled. On the other hand, there are surprisingly great uptempo cuts such as "Be My #2" and "I Love The DJ," both which come across as a desperate attempts at international appeal. Overall, it is the non-imaginative, corny songwriting and tight syllable fitting verses that drown out the ear-pleasing tracks through this album. Thus, Kelly comes across an old geezer who spends way too much time in the club chasing younger women. Hmmmm...
