RANKED: 50 Greatest #1 R&B/Hip-Hop Hits Of 2000-2009

This decade in music saw a healthy competition for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B/Hip-Hop across all sub-genres of urban music.  From pop divas to R&B crooners and east coast emcees to southern-slanged rappers and in between, over 100 songs topped the aforementioned charts in urban music.  G-Magazine Now compiled a list of the 50 top-charting singles that changed the game, made lasting impressions upon listeners and deserved their spot at the top.  Check out the list below.

Check out the Rihanna's music video for "Hard," the third single from her Rated R album.  In summary, she shuts down all her competition in the music video game and fashion department here.  This should make Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Britney Spears, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Monica, Mya, Amerie, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, and whoever else really think outside the box in their future music videos and gives us fans an eyeful and not the predictable.  Well, Lady Gaga is the only pop diva that is still ahead of the music video game.

Janet Jackson Performs "All For You" & "Make Me" On The "X-Factor"

Legendary R&B/pop diva Janet Jackson headed overseas to London to perform at the "The X-Factor" television show.  Similar to the U.S. "Americian Idol," the show brings some of the world's biggest acts to add more entertainment value to gain viewers.  Following Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, among others, Jackson gave a lively performance of her 2001 chart-topper "All For You" along with her new single "Make Me."  With more than a few dozen background dancers in tow, Ms. Jackson gave her greatest stage performance in years.

SONG REVIEW: "I Love You" by Chris Brown (featuring Ester Dean)

Many talented stars have tarnished their at one time or another.  From Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson to Usher, their fans have forgiven them for their indiscretions that have cost them their own career setbacks.  With his February 2009 domestic abuse situation behind him, R&B singer Chris Brown preps his Graffiti album which includes this jolly love song "I Love You."  As part of the extended deluxe version of the album release, "Love" is cute, simple, light, delectable, etc., having all the ingredients of a guarantee radio hit.

At first listen, the accordion instrumentation sounds out of place, but it made such a sweet tune magical.  Though newcomer pop singer Ester Dean sounds very good as the guest vocalist, would it not be twice as hot if the female vocals were such by pop diva Rihanna?

R&B queen Mary J. Blige's secret to maintaining A-list status in the music industry is growth.  With each album and single Blige has released, the maturation of the diva's style has ascended.  Check out the newly unveiled album cover for Stronger (With Each Tear).  Her ninth studio album boasts such a simple, yet strong, sophisticate photo of Blige.

This is one of the classiest album covers ever.  Hopefully, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Beyonce will follow suit.

Janet Jackson's Interview On "20/20"

Have you all checked out Janet Jackson's recent interview with Robin Roberts on "20/20?" The pop music queen had her most candid interview on the ABC network as she reflected over her life, her music career and even her world famous family. Five months after the death of her older brother Michael, Janet finally broke her silence sharing with Roberts intimate details about how the family dealt with Michael's death, how Michael's children are doing today and also how Janet handles her pain in dealing with the loss of her closet sibling.

Janet Jackson's Behind-The-Scene Of "Make Me" Music Video

Legendary R&B/pop diva Janet Jackson finally begins the promotion of her Number Ones collection this week.  With her ABC "20/20" interview tonight and her opening performance at the "American Music Awards" next week, the media interest in Janet has skyrocketed.  Also, Janet has finally filmed a music video for the lone new song on the singles collective titled "Make Me." Check out ABC's behind-the-scenes shooting of the music video.  It looks like it may be another hot music video for Ms. Jackson.
