G-LINKED: Real Housewives Of Atlanta Might Dump NeNe & Kim

The third season of the Atlanta Housewives could reveal some major shifts in the new season, including new cast members. Pop the top for the details.

According to a source, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are demanding more money to appear on the show. Apparently, Bravo is unwilling to pay more and the producers are fed up with their extravagant requests. We hear the network is quietly making plans to move on without the two ladies.

They have been interviewing some major Atlanta prospects and want to move forward with adding a sixth housewife or replacing Kim and NeNe. Returning will be Kandi, Lisa, and Sheree who was rumored to be leaving the show. On a side note, Tameka Foster was in talks to join the cast but all the ladies said they would walk if she was added.

At least they all agreed on something.

Chris Brown's Album Sets To Flop; Susan Boyle Continue To Rule American Music Charts

Trouble R&B star Chris Brown seems to cannot shake the negative publicity that has plagued his career for all of 2009.  As sales predictions are set for album released this week in America, experts suggest that Brown's new Graffiti album may shift only 90,000 - 110,000 based on its first day sales tally from Tuesday.  If that is the case, Brown could suffer a flop.  His 2007 album Exclusive and his 2005 self-titled debut sold 290,000 and 154,000 respectively in their first sales weeks.

In other music chart news, traditional pop star Susan Boyle from "Britain's Got Talent" has domination album sales once again.  In its second week in stores, Boyle's I Dream A Dream sold more than 500,000 copies which bolstered sales to more than 1.2 million.  With the news of Brown achieving such disappointing number of album units sold, experts project that Boyle will remain on top for a third weeks with sales between 500K to 600K.

Only one could wonder how Chris' record label will deal with this crisis.  While there are mixed feelings about the beleaguered singer bouncing back to being a R&B star, would Jive Records really dump the crooner if his album does not sell well over the next few months?

 

SONG REVIEW: "I Love You" by Chris Brown (featuring Ester Dean)

Many talented stars have tarnished their at one time or another.  From Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson to Usher, their fans have forgiven them for their indiscretions that have cost them their own career setbacks.  With his February 2009 domestic abuse situation behind him, R&B singer Chris Brown preps his Graffiti album which includes this jolly love song "I Love You."  As part of the extended deluxe version of the album release, "Love" is cute, simple, light, delectable, etc., having all the ingredients of a guarantee radio hit.

At first listen, the accordion instrumentation sounds out of place, but it made such a sweet tune magical.  Though newcomer pop singer Ester Dean sounds very good as the guest vocalist, would it not be twice as hot if the female vocals were such by pop diva Rihanna?

While suggested people are gay by doing innocent activities such as dancing, some stories can be very telling.  Check out R&B singer Chris Brown at his Houston concert this past Saturday.  From his dancing to the music, no one cannot doubt that is unfair to assume that Chris Brown has been influenced by the underground gay culture of the ball scene.

MUSIC VIDEO: "Russian Roulette" by Rihanna

The music video that the world has waited for has finally arrived.  "Russian Roulette," the controversial first single from Rated R by international pop diva Rihanna is the darkest and most haunting video in the singer's repertoire.  Though the video is very artistic and beautifully shot, the gun and bloody images are bound to ignite some ire from critics.

Interestingly, this video debuts the same day as ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's world premiere of "Crawl."

R&B singer Chris Brown debuted the music video for "Crawl," the second single from his upcoming Graffiti album.  He enlists model/singer Cassie to play his love interest in a song that sounds like a quest to get back his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, whom he abused after a pre-Grammy party in February 2009.

Though the album does not push any boundaries artistically, it should keep your interest throughout with its imagery.

Chris Brown Schedules "Fan Appreciation" Tou

Last month, New York radio station Power 105.1 (WWPR) announced singer Chris Brown would be headlining its Powerhouse concert this year, marking his first major promotional event since his February 8 altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Now, Jive Records -- the label Brown is signed to -- has revealed that he will also be going on a 19-city, small venue tour.

Dubbed the Fan Appreciation tour and aimed at acknowledging and thanking Brown's fans for their support, the trek begins at the House of Blues in Houston, TX, on November 14 and makes stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Brown's hometown of Virginia, before ending on December 13 in Philadelphia.

A portion of the proceeds from the tour will be donated to Best Buddies International, a non-profit organization devoted to providing jobs and leadership opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. The Jenesse Center, a non-profit that provides culturally sensitive services to strengthen families and is based in Los Angeles, will also receive a portion of the proceeds.
As previously reported, Brown recently released his first official track, the Swizz Beatz-produced "I Can Transform Ya," featuring Lil' Wayne. The song is said to be the lead single from his upcoming album, Graffiti.

SONG REVIEW: "Transform Ya" by Chris Brown

Apparently, R&B singer Chris Brown pays no attention to the naysayers about the demise of his career with regard to his run-in with the law for beating ex-girlfriend pop singer Rhianna.  Brown drops the first single from his upcoming Graffiti album titled "Transform Ya."  The single features ubiquitous guest rapper Lil' Wayne and simple beat maker Swizz Beatz, both who steal the shine away from Chris on the single.  Though the song does not horrendous, it does possess a noisy instrumentation recycled by beats Swizz used for R&B superstar Beyonce for 2005's "Check On It" and 2007's "Get Me Bodied."

If Brown is perceived to be one of R&B's A-list talents, he should hire an innovative producer who can create a timeless beat with a top-notch songwriter to scribe top-notch lyrics.
