Boston Celtics sharp-shooter Ray Allen dropped by New York's Madison Avenue men's shop Pravda Abbigliamento trying to buy a pair of orange-and-green shoes he spotted in the window. The $1,695 price tag was no problem, but the store didn't carry size 14. Owner Philip Pravda offered to custom-order the shoes for Allen, but the NBA star said it was "an impulse thing" and left empty-footed.
Really, Mr. Allen?
