Last night, more than 100 celebrities united in New York, Los Angeles and London to lend their support to raising funds for Haiti in a televised hosted by actor George Clooney, Wyclef Jean and Anderson Cooper. Cooper who spoke to viewers live from Haiti interviews citizens and U.S. helpers in Haiti about the griming situation about the survivors, famine and those who are still struggling for their lives.
As the event was televised globally to more than 30 countries and streaming live on YouTube, CNN and Comedy Central websites, the telethon became the most viewed telethon of all-time. No results of numbers of viewers have been announced yet.
With more than a dozen artists performing live during the telecast, check out these performances by Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera and Mary J. Blige. Though I hate to judge what people do for humanity, I must say these were the best performances of the night by far.
